Case study · In-house brandWe designed, built and run ClearLayer Access: a white-label accessibility service for web agencies, with its own website, free tools that earn search traffic, a client and staff portal, and an authenticated mail domain for outreach.
What you can hire us for: service websites that make complex compliance work easy to buy, plus the portals and tools behind them.

Built with
01 / The problem
What the brand had to solve, for agencies and for us.
Web agencies keep getting asked for audits, accessible PDFs, captions, code fixes and VPAT reports. Most do not have accessibility specialists in-house, and US public entities now face ADA Title II deadlines for their websites and documents, often with thousands of PDFs.
We needed a brand an agency could trust on day one with no client names to show: clear services and prices, real evidence of how the work is done, and a secure way to hand files back and forth.
02 / What we built
Website, tools, portal and mail, all live.
Six service pages (audits, document remediation, media, code fixes, monitoring, VPAT/ACR), each with deliverables and a starting price.
Eligible organizations send up to 10 pages and see the quality and testing record before they buy.
A demonstration document with nine selected checks, clearly labelled as illustrative, never passed off as a client file.
Turns an entity type and population into a compliance date, days left and a weekly page pace; dates checked against the Federal Register.
Plain-language guides on WCAG, PDF/UA, Section 508 and Title II, written to answer what buyers search for.
Orders, file upload, quotes, invoices, messages and delivery approvals for each agency, behind a sign-in.
Tag structure, reading order, issues, internal and agency notes, and versioned files in one screen.
A business mail domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC for outreach, kept separate from personal accounts.
03 / How it works
The path an agency and its files take. Dots show the flow.
04 / Screens
Captured from the live site in November 2026. Select a screen to enlarge it.

05 / Portal and quality records
Implemented in the product. Not a legal certification.
The portal stores and tracks files; remediation and testing are done by people with professional tools. We do not give legal advice or guarantee freedom from legal claims.
06 / Decisions
What a buyer can ask us about.
With no client names to publish, we show a labelled demonstration document and offer a free test on the buyer's own files.
Every service shows a starting price, so agencies can quote their own clients without waiting for us.
The site and portal say plainly what we do not do: legal advice, guarantees, or changes to a live website.
The same portal code serves ClearLayer Access and eFiling Ready through a brand configuration, so fixes reach both.
The deadline checker and guides answer real search questions and lead to the free test.
Outreach runs on a business domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC at a low, steady volume. Authentication helps deliverability; it does not guarantee the inbox.
07 / Timeline
Then improved continuously.
Name chosen, domain registered, hosting and DNS set up.
Public site and client and staff portal built to approved designs.
Mail on our own domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC; outreach moved off personal accounts.
Free PDF test, before-and-after sample, deadline checker and guides.
The team runs the free tests, remediation and portal day to day.
08 / What it shows
The same skills, applied to your product.
How we would run your build: a free call, then a written scope with a fixed price or monthly rate, weekly progress updates, independent QA before launch, and a full handover of code, documentation and access. See how we work →
ClearLayer Access is an in-house brand designed, built and run by Arcvane Labs. It is not commissioned client work, and we show no client names, user counts or revenue. Portal screens use test fixtures.
